AURORA, ONTARIO, Canada, May 12, 2010 – Magna Exteriors and Interiors, an operating unit of Magna International Inc., has received three supplier awards from Toyota Motor Europe (TME). The awards were presented in Brussels, Belgium, at TME’s 2010 Annual Supplier Business Meeting, where Toyota recognized suppliers demonstrating exceptional performance in the areas of quality, value analysis, project management, supply and cost.
All three awards were secured by the Barton, England, manufacturing division of Magna Exteriors and Interiors, which supplies interior door trim and consoles for the Toyota Avensis and Auris. The division was recognized with Achievement Awards in the areas of Project Management and Quality, as well as a Certificate of Recognition in the Value Analysis category.
“We are grateful to Toyota Motor Europe for the recognition,” said David Mortiboys, Vice President, Magna Exteriors and Interiors. “This is a true reflection of the strong team we have in Barton and their exemplary performance at all levels.”
